Numbered grid Write-in line Build a word book

A numbered grid layout with images in the top section and words listed below with a line for students to write. Great for building personal vocabulary books - students collect sheets over time into their own picture dictionary.

Word bank worksheet example

Word Bank Worksheet

Write-in blanks Jumbled spelling Dummy words

Similar to the picture dictionary but designed as a worksheet - students look at each image and write the correct word on the line below. Add extra dummy words to the word bank and jumble the spelling for increased difficulty.

Spaghetti string matching worksheet example

Spaghetti String Matching

Match images to words Traceable text Read only option

Images on the left, words or sentences on the right - students draw a line connecting each image to the correct word. Choose traceable text for handwriting practice, or read-only for a pure matching task. Text fields accept short sentences too.

Tips for all four makers

Any language works The text fields accept any language input. Type vocabulary in French, Spanish, Japanese, Arabic, or any other language your students are learning.
More than just the word Try typing a short sentence, a question, or a translation instead of just the vocabulary word. The makers are flexible - the text field is yours to use however suits your lesson.
Printing Each maker opens in a new tab with a print menu at the top. If the print menu doesn't appear, print directly from your browser as you normally would for any web page.
Which style to choose? Vocabulary Handout for reference sheets and new vocabulary introduction. Picture Dictionary for student-built vocabulary books. Word Bank for fill-in tasks. Spaghetti String for matching and writing practice.
